‘Star Wars 8’ Update: Daisy Ridley on Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker; Film Titled 'Tale of the Jedi Temple'?

By

The success of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens have already lingered in the box-office history but Star Wars 8 is already underway to continue the franchise's record. Recently, Rey portrayer Daisy Ridley expressed her thoughts on working on the upcoming sequel. Meanwhile, rumors indicate that the movie has already an official title.

Daisy Ridley has recently spilled a few beans on working with Mark Hamill for the eighth episode of the epic space opera franchise. According to IGN, Ridley said that "Luke is so cool in this" referring to the Star Wars 8. Ridley divulged the statement on an interview saying that her collaboration with Hamill, has been simply amazing. She added that they've been rehearsing a lot in Skellig to do the opening for the Star Wars 8. She commented on the film as "It's such as good story," insinuating that the fans should be more than excited for the upcoming movie.

Movie Web also detailed that Tim Veekhoven took it to Twitter to promote new Topps stickers featuring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. The photo shows Hamill in the iconic-Jedi robes as the iconic character. Though it is not the official photos, it should be good since Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens didn't reveal much and will continue to do so in the making of Star Wars 8.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot wrote that there is a tentative title for the film: Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple. It came from Facebook and Reddit users who claimed it is a leaked photo. That kind of title is actually consistent with the rumors that the main story would be about the first Jedi Temple. Nonetheless, the confirmed title is said to be revealed by the studio on May 4th also known as the May the Fourth be with you day, as a reference from Star Wars iconic line.

Star Wars 8 is the upcoming installment to the Star Wars franchise by George Lucas. The film is being directed by Rian Johnson with Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill and Adam Driver reprising their roles. Star Wars 8 is bound to hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
