Sabine Kehm, Michael Schumacher's manager and friend, gave a rare update on the state of her client's recovery. She remained hopeful that the F1 legend would soon regain his health and acknowledged his storied career during an exhibition for the champion in Marburg, Germany.

According to Deccan Chronicle, manager Sabine Kehm expressed her full support for the quick recovery of her client and friend. Schumacher's spokeswoman remained mum on the details of the F1 racing legend's race to rehabilitation but she was hopeful that he will return to good health in time. Kehm said that Schumacher's accident was inevitable but it didn't stop her from being hopeful.

During an exhibition on her client's storied career in Marburg, Germany, she praised Schumacher and reminded people that the seven-time world champion's achievements were worth honoring.

She said, "He is the most successful driver in history and sometimes, on days like this, it is good to be reminded of it. Of course, Michael is not here and of course we miss him. We know what has happened and cannot change it... We must accept it and hope with everything we have that with continued support and patience he will one day be back with us. Racing was his life and no one would have liked to have been here more than him."

Meanwhile, according to the Business Standard, ex-manager Willi Weber demanded for an "honest update" regarding Schumacher's condition. Weber said that providing such would put give the fans some hope and make them more at ease. Earlier reports stated that he criticized the Schumacher family back in 2015 when he openly slammed them on his Facebook page about not being allowed to visit the racing champion.

The Schumacher family had been putting up restrictive measures to protect their privacy, only allowing the most closest family members and friends access to their medical facility.

According to NZ Herald, Schumacher spent six months in a medically induced coma after succumbing to near-fatal head injuries following an unfortunate skiing accident in the Alpine resort of Meribel in December 2003. He has been receiving rehabilitative medical care in his Swiss estate in Lake Geneva under a team of specialist health care providers.

Schumacher is a seven-time Formula One World Champion considered as one of the greatest racing drives in the sport's history. He drove for Ferrari for 11 years and won them five consecutive titles. He was also named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, once in 2002 and once in 2004.
