Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Rumors: Device to sport better screen display and powerful processor

By

While Samsung is gearing up for the release of the new Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge at the MWC event in Barcelona, rumors of the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 are surfacing around the web. Reports claim the new member of the Note lineup will be packed with a better screen and powerful processor.

According to Pocket Lint, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will arrive in an all metal outer shell. This is a far cry from the faux-leather and the plastic casing its predecessor had. It will measure at around 153.x76.1x 7.6mm and will only weigh 171 grams.

The Note 6 will sport a 5.8-inch touchscreen display with a 2450 x 1440-pixel display with 515 pixels per inch resolution, Techno Buffalo reported. It will utilize Samsung's trademark AMOLED technology on its screen, giving it a vibrant color display.

For the hardware, the Galaxy Note 6 will have an octa-core Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a massive 6GB of RAM. Gadgets 360 claimed it will also be having a 32 and 64GB internal memory variants. It is yet to be seen though if it will have a microSD slot for extended memory.

The device will use Android's latest v6.0 Marshmallow OS with Touchwiz interface which is primarily integrated with its S-pen features.

For the Note 6's camera, it might come out of the box with a whopping 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front snapper. Both cameras will have an aperture of f/1.9, which is significantly wider than the previous models before it. The camera will also feature Samsung's Super OIS Plus.

Though the Note 6 is not yet in sight, predictions of its features are already circulating around the web. Generally, experts are expecting a better processor performance, improved camera functionality and a great overall experience from the upcoming device.

Samsung is expected release the Note 6 this coming August 2016 in Europe.
