The first generation Lenovo A6000 was launched last January 2015. Lenovo is now prime and ready to release the newest addition to its smartphone line up, the A6000 second generation.
Lenovo is planning to reveal the new A6000 at the MWC event in Barcelona. Indian makers said that the phone was made from scratch and would definitely give its fans a knockout punch. The company came up with an ad showing liquid metal being poured into a plastic casing on a phone. This strongly suggests that this smartphone will be encased in an all metal body. Lenovo is planning on calling the new smartphone Lemon 3 Plus.
The A6000 2nd gen or the Lemon 3 Plus will have a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixel density. It will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon's 616 quad-core processor running at 1.5 GHz. The new phone will also be having a 3GB random access memory with a 32 GB internal memory upgradeable to 128GB via external mircoSD card.
On the photography department, the A6000 2nd gen will sport a 13MP rear facing camera coupled with a 5MP front snapper. All this hardware will be powered by a non-removable 2750 maH Li-ion battery. Rumors came out that the Lemon series smartphone's are only sold in China that is why experts are looking at the idea that Lenovo might announce the device with a different name like A6000 2 or A6000 2016 to make it more appealing to the international market.
The Lemon 3 series are already sold right now at the China market. Pictures of the new A6000 second gen's rear design are very much identical to the Lemon 3. The design of the camera and the position of the dual left and right speakers are unique. People will have a clearer view of this newest offering of Lenovo ones it comes out from the event in MWC this coming February 22.
