LG Electronics has its hands full as it is about to announce its newest smartphones this year. Just recently, it revealed its new X series smartphone line and seems to continue surprising its patrons with the reveal of LG Stylus 2.
According to Phones Review, LG will announce the successor to the G4 Stylus smartphone. The new Stylus 2 will be revealed at the upcoming MWC Congress in Barcelona.
As reported by Android Geeks, the LG Stylus 2 will have a 5.7-inch In-Cell display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It measures around 155x79.6x7.4mm and only weighs 145 grams. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 1.5GB LPDDR3 Random Access Memory. It has a large 16GB internal memory that is upgradable to 128GB via external microSD card slot. It will be using the latest Android v6.0 Marshmallow and will be powered by a massive 3000 mAh Li-ion removable battery.
For the camera department, the LG Stylus 2 will rock a 13-megapixel primary camera with an 8-megapixel secondary shooter. One notable feature of the Stylus 2 is its Nano-coated pen tip which experts view as a better version of the rubber tip of the G4. This gives the pen a more accurate feel. It also has a Pen Keeper which notifies the user if the pen bay is empty and prevents the possibility of it getting lost, as per Gadgets 360.
One more feature of the Stylus 2 is the Pen Pop feature. This offers the user the opportunity to open up shortcuts like the Pop Memo and Pop Scanner the moment they remove the stylus. The device also has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB connectivity.
LG has announced that the device will be available in South Korea starting next month and the release in Asia, Europe and the US will follow later, though the price of the device is yet to be announced. Colorways available for the Stylus 2 are brown, titan and white.
