OnePlus is bound to unveil another handset called the OnePlus 3. Avid fans of the company are expecting that this handset will feature NFC, an improved camera and a fingerprint sensor.
According to Android Origin, OnePlus devices are always tagged as flagship killers but these handsets are not usually that powerful. They usually have good specs yet there are some features missing which could be included upon the launch of the OnePlus 3. Two of which is the NFC application and an improved camera. Fast charging capability is also included in the list as one of the improvements that could really make the OnePlus 3 a flagship killer.
PC-Tablet added that another component absent on OnePlus handsets is the fingerprint scanner. Basically, the native Google support for the fingerprint sensor is used for the unlocking of device. This technology is expected to be faster than ever before with the new hardware and advanced software. Although the OnePlus 2 is having a great fingerprint sensor, it can be a little slow sometimes most probably because of the software or any other issue.
International Business Times reported that leaks suggest OnePlus 3 would be similar to OnePlus 2 in design and that no speakers is found on the rear of the device. It also claimed that a 1920 x 1080 pixel screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor will be featured in the upcoming device.
Interestingly, a designer named Hasan Kaymak has made a concept image of the OnePlus 3. Based on the illustration, the device might sport a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, and a 4,000mAh capacity battery. There are also reports suggesing that it would run Cyanogen OS, based on Android Marshmallow and be packed with 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.
However, these specifications should be taken only as a pinch of salt as OnePlus has not yet confirmed anything. Patrons of the company could only hope that soon, the Chinese tech company would give specifics of the OnePlus 3.
