The HTC One M10 has been all over the news due to some speculations on its specs and release date. Recently, it is rumored to have its first appearance during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. The device is also predicted to come in two variants with different chipsets.
According to Christian Today, there are previous speculations stating that a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor will arm the variant for the U.S. and Europe markets while the HTC One M10 to be shipped for China and Southeast Asia will reportedly use a MediaTek chipset. However, it is still unknown what model of MediaTek chipset will be used, but it is expected to be as powerful as the Snapdragon.
With this two varieties, there is a possibility that its rumored debut at the MWC 2016 won't materialize. This is because the Taiwanese tech would be buying more time for the enhancements of the handsets. Before, the One M10 was expected to launch during CES 2016 but it do not happen.
While HTC's patrons are hoping to see the upcoming flagship handset next month, some recent reports claim the smartphone maker could delay the release, in favor of the company's sponsored press event in March. This leaved the two HTC One M10's versions release in around April.
According to Ecumenical News , the device would run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the in-house User Interface HTC Sense 8.0 on top of it. Powered by a 3,000mAh capacity battery, it could be arrive with a 23MP front-facing snapper and a new kind of water-resistant design which rating is of IP68.
Additionally, TrustedReviews reported that there's a big chance for the One M10 to have a fingerprint sensor. This is because the HTC One A9 and HTC One M9+ already have this technology as well. It is also rumored to be armed with a new USB-C connector.
Since HTC has not yet revealed any detail about the One M10, the above information is merely based on speculations and should be used as guide only. Soon enough, as the expected release date of the device nears, the company could give the specifics of its upcoming flagship handset.
