Samsung is reportedly releasing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to Galaxy J2 units, as new speculations surround the Galaxy J series phones to get the update just like the confirmed ones. Initial reports said that Galaxy J2 might indeed be getting a fair share of the Marshmallow update very soon.
Samsung Galaxy J2 is lucky enough to be considered one of the recipients of the most sought-after Android update in history. The device is reported getting the update along with Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5.
Reportedly, units in India will receive the update first more than any version in the world, just as it was first updated with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop since August 7. Galaxy J2 with model number SM - J700F will most likely be used for the upgrade tests.
