Samsung Electronics is bound to release another smartphone, the Galaxy J5 2016. Recently, this handset was spotted on GFXBench revealing its full specifications and features.
According to Phone Arena, a smartphone having a model number SM-J510x has gone through the GFXBench benchmark test. Bearing in mind that the SM-J500 is the Samsung Galaxy J5, many thinks it's possible that the handset which is the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016). After all, it was only a couple of days ago when the South Korean tech giant unveiled its Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016).
When it comes with the specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), International Business Times cited some.
If the test that surfaced is true, the upcoming handset smartphone of Samsung will sport a 5.2-inch display, paired with 720p screen resolution. Under its chassis is a Snapdragon 410 chip, working hand-in-hand with quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, running at 1.2 GHz.
The Qualcomm's Adreno 306 is in-charge of the graphics, while the handset comes packed with a 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.Running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, it is armed with a 12 or 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies.
For reference, NDTV Gadgets cited some of the features that the original Samsung Galaxy J5 has. This device that was released in India July last year sports a 5-inch Super Amoled display, and an HD screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels.
The Galaxy J5 (2015) is also armored with the same processor as its successor but with lesser 1.5GB RAM. It has 8GB of built-in storage that can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. When it comes with the camera, it is armed with a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f/1.9 aperture and 5-megapixel front snapper, all powered by a 2600mAh capacity battery.
Since the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) was spotted on the GFXBench, it is possible that the release of the handset is just around the corner. However, the specs and features of the device are not yet confirmed by Samsung so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
