Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Rumors: Release Set at MWC or Q3 of 2016

By

Following the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 last year, many are already wondering when its successor, Galaxy Note 6, will be released. Reports have it that its launch could take place during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 or on the third quarter of this year.

According to Gospel Herald, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might be launched sometime this year. This will be in time for Europe's biggest tech showcase IFA. But there are also several reports stating that Galaxy Note 6 could be unveiled in March during Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.

Some tech experts have reportedly observed that Samsung has a tradition of releasing new devices during the third quarter of the year. In fact, Samsung Galaxy became accessible in the markets fall last year. Nevertheless, the sixth-generation of Samsung Galaxy Note series will be available in the market shelves this year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is predicted to boast a 4K screen resolution, which becomes an increasingly conventional technology, as well as a curved screen version for better display. Though there is no detail yet with its size, Android users are hoping that Note 6 will have a bigger screen compared to Note 5.

Additionally, the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 is also speculated to house a top-of-the-class camera technology. It will reportedly have a 30-megapixel primary camera on the rear, and a 16-megapixel secondary on the front. This would alow users to shoot 360-degree videos in 4K resolution.

Under its chassis is a 16-core processor clocked at 3.1GHz. It is also rumored to feature a Snapdragon and Exynos chipset, along with a huge 8 GB of RAM that would give less chance for the gadget to hang.

Another huge enhancement on the device is the faster charging time, which is set to have 5-minute battery recovery. Handsets with a USB-C port can charge much faster compared to those that have the micro USB. Faster charging time will let the smartphone users have more battery life in lesser amount of time.

The Bitbag added that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have a phablet dock with a small keyboard attached. This will allow the users to switch between the Android OS and the Windows 10 OS. This will be a major change in this new series of Samsung devices.

When it comes to the price, the Galaxy Note 6 will start from $750 and can also cross $800.

Although there have been a lot of predictions about the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, the South Korean tech company hasn't given any official information yet. With this, avid fans of the Note series will have to wait a little longer and see what other information will surface ahead of the launch of the device.
