Now that the Warner Bros. have announced a new Batman franchise that would star 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Ben Affleck, he is also being considered to helm the project. In line with this, the actor speaks up about his thoughts and involvement tothe project.

After establishing himself as an actor and a director in Hollywood, actor Ben Affleck is now in the shortlist to lead the Batman standalone movie and shared his thoughts about it. According to Den of Geek, Ben Affleck confirmed the possibility to involve himself more than the titular lead role he's been given. The actor stated that he's still on the verge as he' still going through the process and didn't image to direct a movie like this one. Moreover, in seeing on how the upcoming Batman v Superman director Zack Synder, he got really inspired on how he's telling the story and its scope.

More to this, report from Collider indicated the progress of DC cinematic universe with Batman and other films. According to them, Ben Affleck's solo film will be titled The Batman with a potential release in 2018. This would make sense since Batman is scheduled to be featured in Justice League: Part One that'll start filming this summer. Though, there's no confirmation with this, Affleck is surely to continue in portraying the dark knight on upcoming DC Comics film adaptations.

Ben Affleck might be new to helming film projects but nonetheless, he's credited with much more than experience as IDigitalTimes reported. The article detailed that Affleck has proven his expertice in directorial skills as he's handled The Town and Argo. The latter should be noted to have won theAcademy Award for Best Picture in 2013. Now that Affleck hasn't confirmed his role as Bruce Wayne and the director, the actor is sure to direct Live By Night.

Batman Solo Movie is the tentatively title of upcoming Batman franchise reboot to star Ben Affleck. Talks about his involvement as director has been rumoured and the star himself has speak up about to detail some of his insights. If accepted, the Argo-director will be the helm of Batman movie and is going to be the lead actor in it which should excite fans of Affleck and DC superhero. But for now, fans should look forward to March 25 as the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated for the release.
