Apple has released two major updates to iOS 9 which are the iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2. Recently, another upgrade dubbed as iOS 9.3 in beta version has been launched for the testers. The iOS 9.3 is expected to bring new features, improvements and bug fixes to various iOS devices.
According to Latin Post, since Apple is upgrading its operating system by .1, it is considered a pretty major update. It reportedly contains a few significant upgrades on some apps and the newest Night Shift feature.
Night Shift is the newest way to let iOS device users read their phones or tablets while in bed without disturbing their sleep cycle. This feature allows the iPhone or iPad to spontaneously adjust its colors to help users get a better night sleep. Apple found a way to lessen these blue colors and replace them with yellows. According to the company's thorough research, the color adjustment helps the users sleep better.
TNH Online cited other new features and enhancements that are predicted to be experienced by iOS device users upon the update. One of which is the Note App, wherein users will be able to add a passcode to their private notes. These notes can be neatly organized based on date or title.
Upon upgrading to iOS 9.3, owners of the device can also duplicate live photos. Users will be able to make copies of live pictures in the Photos App. All they have to do is select a live one, click on the share prompt and then choose the Duplicate option. From there, they just have to simply choose the Duplicate as Still Photo option.
With the iOS 9.3, the Apple News will be more interesting than ever as this upgrade brings changes to this application as well. Users will be able to find hot news and trending subjects faster.
Another major enhancement is the fact that owners of the iOS device will be able to play videos directly from the feed. The Apple Health received an upgrade, too, allowing handlers of the devices to find new health applications for various categories.
As for Apple Watch users, no worries should be felt as they will definitely benefit from this update as well. According to the site, the new OS can monitor their weight loss or their workout routines.
Additionally, The Indian Express stated that with iOS 9.3, Car Play obtains features like New and For You from Apple Music and the Nearby feature in Maps to help users find local restaurants, coffee shops and many more.
Apple Inc. hasn't uttered any word yet about the public release of the iOS 9.3. But many are predicting that this major update will hit the iOS devices during spring.
