'Assassin's Creed' is an upcoming action-fantasy and adventure film directed by Justin Kurzel. The film official wrapped principal photography with Michael Fassbender posing with the rest of the cast and crew for the announcement. The newest promotional photographs have also been released.

According to Techno Buffalo, filming for the live-action adaptation of Ubisoft's highly popular video game of the same name finally comes to completion. The film is now in post-production work well before its scheduled release date for December 2016. According to Game N Guide, Michael Fassbender stars as the main character Callum Lynch as well as his ancestor, a 15th century Spanish assassin named Aguilar. Aguilar was a highly skilled member of the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins and is depicted as a man who wears Moorish robes and wields two hidden blades.

Fassbender revealed, "A lot of the stuff in the game is Parkour... Blades attached to his wrists. It's about getting in close to the target, close quarters fighting."

According to Metro, the newest photographs from the 'Assassin's Creed' film have also been released recently with one showing Fassbender dressed head to toe in knight's armor while looking to be in the middle of a battlefield. Another image showed the actor side by side with French actress Ariane Labed as the two were clad in Moorish robes atop what looked to be a rooftop.

'Assassin's Creed' is an upcoming action-adventure and fantasy film directed by Justin Kurzel based on a screenplay by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie. It is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2016. It stars Fassbender, Labed, Marion Cotillard, Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy Irons, and Michael Kenneth Williams among others.
