Michael Schumacher celebrated his 47th birthday last January 3, yet there is still no improvement with his health. Despite the situation, the motor racing community stays to show its unwavering support for his recovery.
According to Gospel Herald, the F1 legend Schumacher ended up in grave condition after he experienced an accident in skiing around two years ago. As of the moment, the German star's condition is not yet fine. Unfortunately for his supporters, very little information has been revealed of his true health status. Though it is anticipated that friends and fans would have long given up now on supporting the champion, this is not the case.
MNR Daily reported that Mercedes paid tribute to the bedridden race driver. Team chief Ross Brawn provided a commendation stating that no one should undervalue how much Michael did for the accomplishment that the Mercedes team enjoys now. With Schumacher, the team has won races that it should not really have won. He also noted that the racer was able to achieve that more frequently than anyone else has.
Moreover, his fellow racers also gave commendation to him. Both previous world champions Felipe Massa and Sebastian Vittel stated their greetings on his birthday via Twitter. Virat Kohli, the cricketer from India, sent his greetings to Schumacher over Twitter.
Meanwhile, Sabine Kehm, Schumacher's manager stated that the racer has been making progress. His injuries that was caused by the skiing accident in December 2013, has been severe, though its level has not been disclosed to public.
Brawn further stated that there is always hope, something that Schumacher's friends and family have been holding on since development is reportedly slow for the racer. He also said that he keeps in touch with Corinna, Schumacher's wife, and that she updates him from time to time.
Additionally, The Independent stated that the interest in heroes like Schumacher does not stop when the racing ends. There are still a lot of fans and even team mates that are still concerned with his condition. They really wanted to be informed and to understand better the plight of their hero.
For more than 24 months after his accident and what appeared first as a harmless fall, it is reasonable to assume that the family are now accustomed to his condition. Moreover, Schumacher's son, Mick is strongly trailing his own racing career, having drifted last year from karts into single-seaters.
Although, details about Michael Schumacher's condition are not fully disclosed, all of his fans and even his colleagues are hoping for his fast recovery.
