‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ game updates: Leaked achievements list of unannounced open-world TMNT game gives away gameplay details

By

The long list of rewards for the rumored "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" video game has been leaked. Based on the achievements list, it seems the upcoming game will feature co-op play as well as an open-world setting.

The total number of achievements posted on Xbox Achievements is 50 but it's not yet clear if this is the final list or if more rewards will be added to the game once it comes out. Interestingly, some of the rewards require gamers to carry out certain actions that can only be done in co-op play.

These include controlling the ninja turtle Michelangelo to do a "co-op move finishing pose" after defeating a boss and having all of the characters perform a specific action at the same time. As Inquistr noted, these suggest that the upcoming game might support both online and multiplayer cooperative play modes.

In addition, other trophy items revealed in the leak also indicate that the game will be set in an open-world environment. This detail is given away by achievements that require gamers to defend different locations in the map and carry out certain tasks for a certain number of times, which can be commonly seen in open-world games.

As for the other aspects of the yet-to-be-announced TMNT game, the trophy list suggests that certain aspects of the game will heavily rely on stealth. In addition, gamers can also expect to go up against familiar boss villains like Krang, Rocksteady and Bebop.

According to Gamerant, reports about a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" game came out in December of last year but the development studios associated with the project, namely Platinum Games and Activision, have remained tight-lipped regarding its details. The game will reportedly be released as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan."

It's also not yet confirmed when the game will come out but since its achievements list is already available, it could arrive within this year. It's probably safe to assume that it will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but the information section of the trophy list indicated that it is for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
