Fans of the highly successful "Life is Strange" game can look forward to playing it again in its entire form once it arrives later this month. Also, Hannah Telle, the voice actress behind main protagonist, Max Caulfield, said she would love to reprise her role for a possible second season.
The first season for Dontnod Entertainment's "Life is Strange" came out last year, with its first episode debuting in January. The succeeding episodes were then released within the year.
After the launch of the fifth and final episode in October, the development studio announced that it plans to launch a new version of the game in 2016. According to Hardcore Gamer, the "Life is Strange Limited Edition" will feature the entire and uninterrupted first season of the game.
The site noted that this will arrive for the North American and European markets on January 19 and 22 respectively. But, unlike the game's episodes, the upcoming edition will only be launched for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. It's not yet clear if Dontnod Entertainment and publisher Square Enix have plans to release it for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems in the future.
But aside from the Limited Edition, it seems gamers can also look forward to a possible follow-up to "Life is Strange" since there have already been talks about a sequel. The most recent one is voice actress Telle's interview with Blackwell Podcast.
According to the actress, if she is given the chance to work on the game again for a sequel, she would take it. For her, her involvement in the game is the best job she ever had.
But, despite Telle's excitement for a possible sequel, Michel Koch, the game's co-director, had already hinted that she or her character Max, will probably not be featured in a follow-up season, International Business Times reported. He said that the story arcs of Max and other major characters in the game have already been closed with the release of the last episode. This means that the sequel, if it ever gets made, will probably center on a new group of individuals.
