The upcoming Kombat Pack 2 for the massively popular brawling game Mortal Kombat X is set to receive a gameplay reveal next week according to Ed Boon.

The exciting news comes from Mortal Kombat X game creator himself via his official Twitter account. Boon tweeted that a gameplay trailer for the game's next DLC Pack will be released next week so gamers can get a taste of what awaits them in Kombat Pack 2.

International Business Times reports that details on what could be the content in the said reveal are scant at this point but it is seen plausible that the video will be showcasing the new characters' moves and the brutal fatalities. Neither an exact release date of the gameplay trailer was confirmed from the recent anouncement as of yet.

Apparently, four characters will be featured in the second Kombat Pack as revealed in the Game Awards 2015 late last year. These four DLC fighters are the drunken brawler Bo Rai Cho who is also seen in the game but will now be made playable now.

Another new character known as Triborg is a hybrid of Mortal Kombat's Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke. Two new third-party characters Leatherface and Xenomorph from Texas Massacre movie and Alien movies, respectively, will also be playable in the new content update.

In more news, CEO Gaming has announced the line-up of video games for its event happening June 24-26. The line-up includes Mortal Kombat X alongside other popular titles such as Ultra Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter 5, Smash 4, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Killer Instinct, Guilty Gear Xrd, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and more.

Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 is confirmed to launch within the first half of 2016 and NetherRealm Studios is yet to announce the price for the latest DLC. More details to come soon. Stay tuned.
