Following the timed exclusive launching of Crystal Dynamics' Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in November, the 2015 AAA title is now confirmed to be coming to PC platform with 4K Support for better gaming experience on January 28.
As reported by GameSpot, both game developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix has officially revealed the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider to PC this coming January 28 adding that the well-received video game will get a 4K resolution support to make it more fun and exciting for PC gamers.
Ron Rosenberg of Crystal Dynamics stated, "PC players are passionate, devoted audience and we know they'll embrace the version created for their systems."
For players to run the game on their PCs, it is suggested that their own systems must have the following minimum specs:
- Windows 7 64bit operating system
- NVIDIA GTX 650 2GB or AMD HD7770 2GB GPU
- at least 6GB of RAM with a processor of Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- A free space of 25GB HD with a mouse and keyboard hardware input.
Latino Post wrote that Rise of the Tomb Raider PC version will be made available for physical purchase at designated retail stores, via Steam or Square Enix's own stores. The game can also be accessed in Windows Stores nearby.Gamers neeed to shell out at least $60 for the Standard Edition and about $90 for the Digital Deluxe Edition which will also include the DLC pass of the video game.
For avid fans of Lara Croft, they can also collect Rise of the Tomb Raider merchandise by simply buying Special Collector's Edition priced at $150. It contains the Digital Deluxe Edition plus Lara Croft's 12-inch statue, a replica of Lara Croft's journal, and jade necklace with a steel case.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is dubbed as one of the AAA titles of 2015 released as timed exclusive on Microsft's Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles November of last year. Critics like Polygon gave it an 8.5 rating on its review for being bigger and denser than the predecessor.
