Tom Clancy's The Division Beta that was originally planned for release in December last year will be delayed early this year. Ubisoft was giving priority to players who pre-ordered on Xbox One and gained access to the exclusive closed Xbox One alpha testing phase that happened last year on Dec. 9 to 12.
The game is due for release on March 8, 2016 which means that Tom Clancy's The Division Beta should be out soon before the official public launching. It appears that Ubisoft is firm on its commitment to deliver the game to its fans on the promised date.
As Ubisoft states in its blog, " Our team remains committed to delivering an open-world action RPG experience that exceeds your expectations on March 8, 2016."
Meanwhile, the game gets an M rating for Mature by the ESRB. as reported by Gamepur, here's how the game description reads:
This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of a sleeper agent of The Division, a secret government agency designed to respond to major disasters. As players explore urban areas after a bio-terrorism attack, they combat street gangs and militias in realistic tactical fire fights; characters mostly use machine guns, shotguns, turrets, and grenades to kill enemies. We can see in the first portion of Tom Clancy's The Division description, which sums up what the game is all about for those who don't know it.
Combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and large splashes of blood. Several sequences depict corpses, some tied up or hanging from railings, and players must rescue hostages in some levels of the game. Cutscenes occasionally depict bound hostages being stabbed or shot in the head. The words "f**k," "sh*t," and "a*shole" appear in the dialogue.
ESRB is the association that classifies games and entertainment products before they are actually released in the public. This rating basically means Tom Clancy's The Division will include violence as its fans have been used to since the Tom Clancy's brand inception, extremely realistic.
Tom Clancy's The Division is scheduled for release on March 8, 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
