Rocket League 2016 Patch No. 1 Promises UI Scalability, Max Frame Rate; Xbox One Launch Next Month

Psyonix's big hit vehicle soccer video game Rocket League has now marked a new milestone as it reaches over 10 million players worldwide. In more good news, the game developer has also promised fans that the game's first patch this 2016 will address UI scalibility and max frame rate.

According to Playstation Lifestyle, Rocket League's Twitter status on Wednesday reveleaed that the game has more than 10 million players, and also thanked fans for their support.

It is also noteworthy that the game's "Snow Day" in which the soccer ball becomes a hockey puck and along with some good deals of winter items is extended, notes Playstation Lifestyle, which also chose Rocket League to award its 'Best Online Experience' of 2015.

With its commitment to improve the game and as a response to its players' feedback, the game developer on its official forum has announced that that they are implementing updates such as Report System" for the first patch of 2016 including other features and improvements in response to the hot topic about 'Ranked Rejoin' for its online matchmaking.

The 'Rejoin Feature' is one of the top requests for Ranked Online matches. At the moment, players that are disconnected while playing the game cannot rejoin and continue the game with the same group of Rocket League players. Psyonix assures that they will address this issue in their next patch.

"We'll be adding a pop-up that gives disconnected players an option to rejoin their previous Doubles or Standard match if it's still in progress. Look for some elaboration just after the holiday break," the developer says in the game's official forum page.

Psyonix has also promised to improve the overall player experience by making "two technical advancements" particularly in its UI Scalability and Max Frame Rate. These improvements are promised to arrive with its first patch for this year, however, no exact date were given as to when will the patch will be released.

Rocket League is vehicle soccer video game that is developed and published by Psyonix that was released on July 7, 2015 for PC/Steam and PS4. An Xbox One version will be released in February. The game is also in development for OS X and Linux but its release date is yet to be announced.
