The beginning of the New Year could simply mean that fans who are impatiently waiting for the Kingdom Hearts 3 are inching closer towards Square Enix title's much anticipated release date. Also, another indication that it is coming is the recently leaked trailer which has provided scoops on gameplay such as returning worlds, enemies as well as new attacks that gamers can look forward to in the upcoming game.

Courtesy of I Love DCS JP on YouTube, Design & Trend reports that the reported leak is uncovered in a clip which presented a recap of the D23 Expo Japan fest back in November. Around 85-sec. mark is a piece of Kingdom Hearts 3 material inspired by Disney's Toy Story movie showcasing the Astro Blaster Attraction Flow from Buzz Lightyear's theme park ride.

As Sora makes his attack, the audience is clearly presented with a redesigned Mysterious Tower World which was first seen in Kingdom Hearts 2. As a refresher, this world is where Fantasia's wizard master, Yen Sid, takes refuge and this led the many to speculate that the magical land will return in Kingdom Hearts 3.

In addition, the Astro Blaster has appeared to have targeted the heartless with the floating Yellow Opera enemies which took part in the series since its debut can be noted mostly. Also, hardcore fans can point out the Pink Concerta heartless from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days that was initially launched on Nintendo DS.

Meanwhile, game director Tetsuya Nomura revealed via Q&A that players will encounter more enemies other than Nobodies and Heartless in this latest iteration of the game's franchise.

Nomura is quoted saying, "I want to make it so that you can tell who had come to that world by the enemies that appear there. I am thinking of the enemy types as a part of the total production this time."

"I think that it's easy to imagine but I do believe that it will appear in promotional materials sooner or later so please wait for that," adds Nomura.

A report by Realty Today stated that the interview has also revealed the game developer's plan to to feature the seven princesses to Kingdom Hearts 3 similar to the 'Beast's Castle.'

Fans are yet to receive a solid release date for Kingdom Hearts 3, although, rumors swirl that it might hit shelved by end of 2016 or early 2017. It is confirmed that it is set to hit PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
