'Alice Through the Looking Glass' Updates: Disney promises new world; New images of Mad Hatter, Alice reveal

Fans of Disney were more than satisfied when Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit the theaters and broke almost all records in America's ever-expanding movie history. But, Disney is not yet over making good quality film promises. The studio released a statement that 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' will be more than just fantastic.

Disney said that director James Bobin brings Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland' in to a new spectacular version. The studio said that Bobin has a unique vision of creating a weird yet magnificent world. Disney reported that Alice Through the Looking Glass will have a new look and that the adventure will be more 'freakish' than its predecessor.

Many are feasting their eyes in the beauty of Mad Hatter with its new picture released by Disney. Played by Johnny Depp, fans are enthusiastic to see him return in Alice Through the Looking Glass. The versatile actor has played many strange roles throughout his film career, like Edward Scissorhands and Captain Jack Sparrow. Many believe that his Mad Hatter is one of his best character yet.

Alice Through the Looking Glass will also introduce new characters from Lewis Carroll's beloved stories. Alice (Wasikowska) returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the life of the crazy but loveable Mad Hatter. The film is written by Linda Woolverton and produced by Joe Roth, Jennifer Todd, Suzanne Todd, and Tim Burton with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer.

The new movie by Disney will reunite the all-star casts from the worldwide blockbuster phenomenon. Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter will reprise their roles. Fans can also expect the return of the voices of Stephen Fry, Timothy Spall, Michael Sheen, and Alan Rickman. Alice Through the Looking Glass will also introduce new characters like Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter's father, and time, Sacha Baron Cohen. The addition of Sacha Baron Cohen will add more peculiarity in the film, as his character is part human and part clock.

The plot reveals that Hatter has lost his Muchness, and so Anne Hathaway (Mirana), sends Alice on a mission to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock which powers all 'time'. Alice will return to the past and will meet familiar friends and enemies. Alice needs to journey on a dangerous race to save the life of Mad Hatter before time runs out.
