Kevin Fiege of Marvel has announced that Thor: Ragnarok will feature new places and more majestic landscapes in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fiege said that Thor: Ragnarok will mainly be set in the cosmos, which is going to be the foundation on why and how it distinguishes itself from the first two films in the franchise.

A lot of fans seem to agree that the Thor movies are the weaker installments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Kevin Feige latest interview about Thor: Ragnarok seem to offer a pretty promising plot and more refreshing dimensions. Feige also revealed that the mighty Thor will not spend much time hanging out on planet Earth.

The latest setting will be a breath of fresh air for the fans of the god of thunder. Marvel promised that they will maximized their exploration in the Nine Realms. If fans can remember, only Earth and Asgard were featured in the first film, and in The Dark World a battle was set in Svartalfheim.

The president of Marvel also mentioned that there's a conspicuous difference between Thor: Ragnarok from its previous films and the fans will be much more satisfied. He said, 'it's going to be as totally different' from the two prior Thor movies as Winter Soldier from Captain America.

According to Comic Book Movies, Marvel is going to take Thor: Ragnarok into new places and said that new characters will show how big they are swinging on this, and that they got Hulk. Though it has been reported for an infinite times now that the Hulk will appear in Thor: Ragnarok, the reason why he will join the god of thunder is still unclear at this moment.

There's also speculations that Thor: Ragnarok will include Doctor Strange and could possible play a major role. However, there's no guarantee that this rumor is accurate and so Marvel fans should have to wait until the film is released.

It will be interesting to watch how Marvel will explore the other worlds in the Nine Realms and it will be a treat for all fans who believe that Thor is one of the best film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor: Ragnarok is set to open in cinemas on July 28, 2017 and it is going to be directed by Taika Waititi.
