'The Justice league' Part 1 is an upcoming superhero film based on the DC comic books of the same name. Director Zack Snyder hinted that the heroes will face off against a more powerful villain but did not elaborate on who this antagonist will be. He also revealed that 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is the first film in an unofficial trilogy.

According to Comingsoon, the two-part installation following DC's most popular team-up is set to begin filming later this year. Producer Charles Roven said, "We're making most of Wonder Woman [in the U.K.] and we're also making most of Justice League there, JL One... We're definitely gonna be shooting Part One in the first or second quarter of next year." Principal photography for the upcoming back-to-back film comes in time for its scheduled release for November 17, 2017.

Director Zack Snyder hinted that 'Batman v Superman' will somehow pave the way for the two-part 'Justice League' films. According tom Moviepilot, the superhero team-up may fight off a bigger, more ferocious villain in the films. He said, "Well, listen, we're working on Justice League right now, right? In a weird way, Justice League is the next step for these characters to form a bigger team. Maybe there's a bigger enemy to fight?"

It was previously speculated that Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Superman may battle with Darkseid or Brainiac but it remains to be confirmed. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, Ben Affleck returns as Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman, Gal Gadot joins the team as Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman while Jason Momoa comes in as Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman. Additions to the cast include Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Ray Fisher as Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg.

Another article by Movieweb reported that Snyder also revealed that 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' links up with the 'Justice League' installments in a way that it is the first film in the "unofficial trilogy". He hinted, "I think the fun of the [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice] is, in the end, it's a drama. They have to figure out each other, to figure out how to fight each other. So it's really about what makes them tick, and sort of, how that's going to work out in a conflict. And we'll see what happens."

The 49-year old filmmaker is best known for his action and science-fiction work including 'Dawn of the Dead', '300', and 'Watchmen'. He is also attached to serve as executive producer for David Ayer's 'Suicide Squad' as well as producing for Patty Jenkins' 'Wonder Woman'.

'The Justice League' Part 1 is an upcoming action-adventure and fantasy film based on the DC comic books of the same name. It is directed by Zack Snyder based on a screenplay by Chris Terrio. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing the film while Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns are executive producing.
