'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 Update: New Episodes To Feature Ocean Escape; Fan Theories Detailed

By

"Fear The Walking Dead" has no specific date yet as to when it will be coming back to the small screen but it has been revealed that there will be shots featuring the ocean. Speculations and guesses by fans have also been revealed.

In a report by Christian Post, co-creator of "Fear The Walking Dead," Dave Erickson revealed in a recent interview what fans are most likely to expect. The co-creator shared that they have begun shooting at Baja Studios in the Baja peninsula Mexico.

"We are thrilled to be starting production and even more thrilled to be shooting in Mexico," he said. "Baja Studios has been home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years and provides all the creative resources we need to begin this new chapter in the 'Fear' saga. We couldn't be happier.

As for the ocean scenes, it has been reported that in the previous season, Madison Clark and Travis Manawa led a group of survivors inside a gated property. The property was overlooking the Pacific Ocean so it is very much possible that they will be embarking on an ocean escape after Victor Strand, a new characters introduced, went to the ocean to escape Los Angeles' zombies.

Co-creator Robert Kirman noted that not all the scenes for "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 will be taking place on Victor's boat.

Meanwhile, Fan Sided shared that it is not possible for a crossover between "The Walking Dead" and the AMC spin-off series to happen since "Fear The Walking Dead" is still in its early stages meaning Rick is still in his coma.

As for other spoilers, Melty shared that the Nick and Strand's relationship will be bringing a lot of surprises for "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 although details about these are still sealed. Fans are also interested to see the relationship between Nick and Alicia.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 is slated to premiere sometime this 2016.
