Kristen Stewart’s shadow looms over Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ relationship; Engaged couple halts New Year wedding plans

By

The past seems to be too hard to leave behind as engaged couple Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are still haunted by the memory of the actor's romantic past with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. This, according to reports, is why the couple halted their New Year wedding plans.

Reports have surfaced that the British singer is angered by the fact that her handsome fiancé is still in contact with his famous ex. In Touch reported that FKA Twigs recently discovered Pattinson's phone record showing Stewart's name on the list. A confrontation ensued and the British actor insisted it was just a congratulatory call for Stewart who made it on the Oscars list this year. Additionally, the singer was reportedly unsatisfied with the explanation and was unsettled after.

However, this report could only be a malicious lie as The Inquisitr published a picture of the young couple happily walking in London, looking anything but unhappy. The website also reported that despite the nasty break up rumors they both have to battle, they're still very much in love and had no plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

Movie News Guide also reports that Kristen Stewart is not the reason why FKA and Robert have pulled off the initial New Year wedding plans. The lack of preparation was. FKA wants it to be very special for her and her fiancé, but because of busy schedules, was not able to meet specific wedding details.

Other than that, Pattinson's family is also a factor. They have wanted their Robert to be married off last year but now unsure whether FKA is the right woman for him as she couldn't decide on a wedding date.

Despite all these, Twilight franchise star Robert strives and juggles to find a way to keep everyone happy so he can marry the woman he loves.
