Adele graces the cover of Time magazine for its latest issue that was released last Monday. This must be her way of ending 2015 in which she had record-breaking album sales, a much awaited music video by netizens and a world tour that Adele fans are highly anticipating.
The "Hello" singer was featured on the cover of the iconic magazine wherein she is looking over her shoulder and is dressed in red. Her hypnotic gaze was of course present. In addition, Huffington Post reported how Adele's pose was similar to the painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Vermeer. But in her case, it is more like "Girl with the Platinum Record."
Time magazine also had an interview with the British singer that tackled on how she thinks her album "25" became what it is today. She shares that her decision in showcasing emotional vulnerability must have been a factor. It has been very evident on her songs like her hit single "Hello."
"The fact that I'm not shy or embarrassed to be falling apart. Sometimes when you know someone else feels as shit as you do, or approaches things in a certain way just like you do, it makes you feel better about yourself," she said. She also hopes that she brought not just sadness, but joy to people's lives, thinking that there is a comfort in it, according to Perez Hilton.
Time also mentioned that Adele has her 3-year-old son Angelo to be thankful for as she said that he has been keeping her completely calm and cool despite her demanding promotional schedule. Surprisingly, this is despite her not having much time for herself since she spends her spare time with Angelo.
As for her upcoming world tour, the "All I Ask" singer shared her grand ambitions. Since her concerts have been pretty regal, she is planning to raise the bar now. She laughingly told that she is not just going to stand on the stage but would really like to fly through the arena. However, no one's having it.
