The highly anticipated third instalment, The Divergent Series: Allegiant, of the science fiction adventure series from books authored by Veronica Roth had just released a new film poster. Moreover, reports surfaced wherein the film's ending might sway from the book series.
After months of waiting about the progress of the Divergent series third film, fans are now in awe after seeing the highly awaited poster of Allegiant. As reported by Screen Rant, Lionsgate has teased the fans with the latest material related to the film. Two posters have been released wherein the two main characters, Tris and Four, were seen embracing each other and both have statements below. Moreover, the posters are indications that the film might be following what the third book, Allegiant, had done in their story telling. Since the relationship of the two started to grow deeper toward the third book, the author used both of their point of views in narrating rather than the previous books wherein it's just from Tris' perspective.
Furthermore, though the perspectives used in the film are the same with how the book did it, the conclusion of sequel may vary. According to Youth Health Mag, the adventure of the main characters might lead them to the world beyond the wall that may convey why they were inside in the first place. Following the storyline also suggests that Tris will be killed off towards the end as she gave up herself for the cause of others.
Following this, fans of the franchise are still hoping that the producers might reconsider the impending death of their beloved character in the big screen. However, as stated in Korea Portal, Theo James, actor who plays Four, said that there will not be any big changes in the movie. Nevertheless, book series author Veronica Roth also said that there are ideas that might indicate Tris' survival but not following the book's ending will undermine the story.
