San Francisco now required ride-hailing drivers to register as a business and pay an annual fee of $91 for the license. If all 37,000 drivers in the area comply, that would result in a total of $3.4 million in revenue.

The families of nine victims killed at the Newtown school and one teacher who survived the attack are suing the parent company of the weapon used in the shooting, Remington Arms. On Thursday, the judge ruled the lawsuit will be allowed to move forward.

A whopping $113 million will be paid by the New Jersey-based Freedom Mortgage Corp., the private lender company which settled with the U.S. Justice Department last Friday. According to an announcement from the U.S. agency, Freedom Mortgage admitted to the alleged violations made against the standards of the False Claims Act.
