US President Donald Trumps' executive order that bans immigrants of 7 muslim countries from entering the country has sparked controversy within the tech industry. As a response to the executive order, Google has pledged to donate $4 million to support US immigration organizations.
The popular search engine revealed the latest statistic on its effort to combat fake news. A total of 340 fake news site has been taken out by Google in November and December while close to 200 of those sites were permanently banned from using Google ads, said the company as part of a report on fraudulent advertising Wednesday.
Any Chromebooks launching in 2017 and after will work with Android apps in the coming future. Google has confirmed that all Chromebooks launched this year and onward will support Android apps.
