    Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has returned home from treatment for her Bipolar II disorder, after having checked herself into a facility last month. Her husband Michael Douglas described it as a "10,000 mile check-up." Zeta-Jones, an Oscar-winning actress, told the magazine that before her treatment that "this is a disorder that affects millions of people and I am one of them. If my revelation of having Bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help."

    Days before his death in 2009, Michael Jackson told his producer/director Kenny Ortega that "God keeps talking to me." Ortega and associate producer Alif Sankey testified on Wednesday that they became increasingly alarmed at Jackson's frail appearance during his final rehearsals. The lawsuit, brought by Michael Jackson's elderly mother Katherine on behalf of the singer's three children, alleges that privately-held AEG Live was negligent in hiring the physician convicted in 2011 of his involuntary manslaughter to care for her son while he rehearsed for the series of 50 shows.

    Marvin Putnam, an attorney for the concert promotion company AEG Live warned jurors will see a different view of the public persona's view of Michael Jackson as the company seeks to prove it was not liable for the pop star's death in June 2009. While making his opening remarks on Monday, Putnam, said AEG officials had no idea that Jackson was taking the surgical anesthetic that led to his death.

    A federal judge postponed Lauryn Hill's tax evasion sentencing on Monday but not before scolding the eight-time Grammy-winning singer for reneging on a promise to make restitution. Hill pleaded guilty last year to not paying federal on $1.8 million earned from 2005 to 2007.

    Former porn star Jenna Jameson was charged with battery over the weekend after Los Angeles police said assault someone in Orange County on Saturday evening. The person who was assaulted reportedly made a citizen's arrested and promptly called officers. Police took James to the Newport Beach Police Jail, and was later released without having to post bail.
  • Wesley Snipes: Actor Released From Prison After Serving 3 Year Sentence for Tax Evasion

    Wesley Snipes was released from the medium security Federal Correctional Institution McKean, in northwest Pennsylvania. He is known for his starring roles in 'White Men Can't Jump,' the 'Blade franchise and 'Jungle Fever. The jury convicted him for not filing tax returns. He was acquitted of felony and conspiracy charges. Prosecutors argued that Snipes had earned more than $8 million, and failed to file income tax returns between 1999 through 2001.
