Jenna Jameson Arrested: Former Adult Actress Cited With Battery

Former porn star Jenna Jameson was charged with battery over the weekend after Los Angeles police said assault someone in Orange County on Saturday evening, CNN reported. The person who was assaulted reportedly made a citizen's arrested and promptly called officers. Police took James to the Newport Beach Police Jail, and was later released without having to post bail.

Even though there was no official statement from Jameson, she wrote on her Twitter page that she was robbed by a friend who "broke into my home and took everything." Jameson was known for her performances in adult films, magazines, even was a CEO of ClubJenna INC, launchingher film production and online licensing company. She retired from pornographic films in 2008.

Last May, she was charged with a DUI, crashing her Range Rover into a light pole in Orange County. She later pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years of informal probation, given a $340 fine and ordered to participate in a Mothers Against Drunk Driving "victims' impact panel," the Associated Press reported.

Three years ago, the father of her twin boys,Tito Ortiz was charged with domestic violence when Jameson's father called police when the two argued. Ortiz and his lawyer told reporters he was angered because he thought she relapsed into her reabilitation from a prescription drug addiction, reports said.

On Saturday, she was scheduled to appear at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Orange County, news reports said.
