Yesterday, Samsung Electronics Co managed a small victory in its patent infringement trial after a judge declined Apple Inc's request to show evidence mostly from its previous case to prove its competitor had used some of its patents in dispute, Bloomberg said.

Apple Inc recently informed the US District Court in San Jose, California that it has requested the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington to review US District Judge Lucy Koh's rejection of the iPhone maker's sales injunction of Samsung smartphones, Bloomberg said.
