Utah bill was approved 6-3 by lawmakers that gives the death penalty to someone convicted of human trafficking if their victim dies. Opponents of the death penalty called said bill as expensive and excessive.

The Obama administration has started to take in issues to make the United States more water-efficient. It claimed that the country has the potential to reduce its total water use by a third in 2016.

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin signed a bill changing abortion laws as soon as it arrived in his Capitol office. The bill requires a woman to meet physician to tell medical risks and benefits 24 hours before abortion.
