Former soccer executive, Costa Takkas, has pleaded not guilty of charges of bribery schemes. Takkas was the former secretary-general of the Cayman Island Football Association.

The case that was filed by Merck regarding the patent of a drug to cure hepatitis C could land them bilions of dollars in damages fom Gilead. The jury sided with Merck and is now waiting for the decision regarding how much money they will get.

The federal lawyers are asking the judge in New Orleans to approve the $20 billion dollar Gulf oil settlement. The case has been battled for years in court by the Justice Department and is considered the bigggest settlement in the U.S history.
