Alleged Colorado movie shooter James Egan Holmes apparently showed a number of worrisome signs many months prior to the Aurora movie theatre shootout, which claimed the life of 12 and injured 59 others.
According to reports, the NYPD identified Empire Building shooter as 58-year-old Jeffrey Johnson, a former designer of lady’s accessories at Hazan Imports, who was laid off last year in the company’s attempt to downsize. Johnson apparently upset about losing his job opened fire at his former supervisor Steven Ercolino, the company’s Vice President. According to reports Johnson shot Ercolino three times in the chest and the head.
The 33-year-old, Anders Behring Breivik, who bombed government buildings killing 77 and injuring 242 people and then shot at a number of Labor Party supporters in July 2011, was sentenced to 21 years in prison on Friday, after a court ruled him sane.
Congressman Todd Akins has been asked by the GOP party to withdraw from the State senate race after his comments that "legitimate rape" seldom leads to pregnancy. The Republicans have given him until 5.00pm Tuesday to withdraw from the race as a number of top GOP leaders have pulled out financial of support for the Missouri representative.
