On Friday, parents of stuntman Hartwell have filed suit against Dunn's estate claiming monetary compensation including funeral costs. Emma and George Hartwell are suing the estate on which the fatal accident which claimed the life of their 29-year-old son was lost for an undisclosed amount.

In addition, the Hartwells are also suing the bar, Barbaby's of America, which, according to their argument, continued to serve Dunn alcohol despite visibly high intoxications.

The lawsuit alleges that their son was killed due to the "Jackass" star's "negligent, careless and reckless," behavior, as reported by the Inquisitr.

In June of 2011,Dunn fatally crashed into a tree on the estate of West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania. Both Dunn and Hartwell were said to be drinking, Dunn was reportedly driving his Porsche GT3 at a speed of 130mpd when he crashed into a tree resulting in an explosion killing both himself and his buddy.

Investigating Police Chief of the West Goshen, Mike Caroll told International Business Times, "The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn's vehicle was traveling between 132-140 mph at the time of the collision."

According to the reports, both Dunn and Hartwell died of "blunt, thermal trauma," caused by the explosion, as reported by TMZ.

Dunn was found with high levels of intoxication, he was reported to have a 0.196 percent level, whereas the state limit is .08 percent.

TMZ reports that the parents are also demanding the estate pay for "pre-impact fright, fear, pain and suffering" that their son experienced before he died.

Hartwell was 29 and Dunn was 34.
