According to an agreement reached between Airbnb Inc and the office of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, the short-term rental service company will be turning over information of its New York hosts to aid in the illegal hotel probe, Bloomberg reported.
Bloomberg noted that the $95,000 fine imposed by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority on JPMorgan Chase & Co for the latter's failure to report trades properly on the Trace price-tracking system is three minutes of the bank's annual profit.
Internet companies believed that the voting of HR3361, or the bill that would curb data collection programs of the National Security Agency, failed to address concerns about company disclosure on government cooperation, Bloomberg reported.
