Court filings made yesterday at the Delaware Chancery Court in Wilmington revealed that the lawsuit over AT&T Inc's refusal to broadcast Al Jazeera American on its pay-television service has been settled, Bloomberg reported.

According to Donald Sterling's lawyer, Max Blecher, his client will be pursuing the billion-dollar lawsuit against National Basketball Association and have retracted his support for the sale of his Los Angeles Clippers team after the sports league retained the lifetime ban and $2.5 million punishment for his racist comments, Bloomberg reported.

On Monday, BP Plc has failed to secure an emergency request from the US Supreme Court to halt payments to certain businesses who have claimed to receive economic losses from the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill as it seeks to overturn a lower court ruling, Reuters reported.
