Sony to settle plaintiffs in animation wage litigation
Sony Pictures has reached a settlement deal with the opponents, who accused the company of making secret contracts with other studios to limit wages and halt hiring of animation staffs.

DeepMind, Google’s artificial intelligence division has been allowed access to patients’ data of three London hospitals run by Royal Free Trust. The data in encrypted form will be used to develop an app capable of alerting doctors about someone’s possible kidney injury. However, patients’ rights groups have criticized the move since the data may be used for any other purposes.
Hundreds of frozen products have been recalled under CRF Frozen Foods after it was discovered contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. The frozen goods were processed in their Pasco,WA facility where seven people got hospitalized after consuming the products.
