Just after the news about their breakup plagued the internet universe, Chris Brown has reportedly trying to win his on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran back, Fashion & Style reported.
The 25-year-old R&B singer recently took to his Instagram account posting several photos that revealed clues on his intention to rekindle old love's flame with his model ex-girlfriend.
In his latest post on the social media, Brown shared a picture showing his 26-year-old former girlfriend captioned "WCW," which stands for Woman Crush Wednesday. Brown later on removed the photo from his account.
While there is no confirmation whether or not the couple are indeed back together, a source from E! Online claimed that Brown and Tran will sooner or later be back in each other's arms.
"It's going to go back and forth," the source noted. "Ultimately, they're just kids."
Even before Brown posted the said photo, the recording artist has shared quotes on Instagram that possibly hinted at his separation with Tran.
In an August 5 post, Brown shared a Tupac quote saying, "The most expensive thing in the world is trust. It can take years to earn and just a matter of seconds to lose." The singer-songwriter captioned it saying, "Never give up on something that you really want."
Just a day after the aforementioned post, Brown once again shared another quote that explained about the concept of soul mates.
"It's like a best friend but more. It's the one person in the world who knows you better than anyone else. That someone who makes you a better person. No, actually they don't make you a better person. You do that by yourself because they inspire you. A soul mate is someone you carry with you forever. It's one person who knew you, accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would. And no matter what happens, you'll always love them and nothing could ever change that," the post read. Both posts were also removed from the social media site.
Another source from the outlet revealed that Tran is currently focusing on her modelling career and enjoying time with her family.
"She's taking time to spend with her family and focus on her career. She's just been pursuing that part of her life," the insider noted.
Meanwhile, Hiphollywood told that Brown dedicates a song lyric from DJ Khaled's new single to his ex-girlfriend Tran. In the music video of the track, Brown croons a lady singing the lines "Through it all you stuck with me/ Through it all you never ducked off like them cowards when they hit me." The lyrics continues with words saying, "Girl you deserve it/ all the time you've been serving away from the realest n*gga in here/ Imma take you away and I'll hold you down."
