After the intense Season 3 finale of ABC's show "Scandal," fans are in for a treat as Season 4 premieres this fall.
Show creator Shonda Rhimes dropped a few hints on what will happen in this new season, especially after a series of surprises during the third season, including the discovery of Huck's family.
Last season, viewers were just as shocked as Huck when he found out that his wife, Kim, and his son were alive and well. Fans were left surprised of the cliff-hanged ending of the season. Will Huck ever go back to living a family life? How will he do so after all he had done with B613 and for Olivia? What will be his family's reaction after realizing that he has also been alive all along? If he indeed go back to Kim, what will happen to his blossoming relationship with Quinn?
According to an article by Fashion & Style, Rhimes revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the story will have a very profound effect, considering that Huck is a very damaged soul in every aspect of his life. It is definitely going to be devastating for Huck, said Rhimes, since he already let go of the fact that they existed and all of a sudden, he is confronted by the shocking news.
In Season 4, viewers can expect to discover the answers to questions. They can look forward to seeing a lot more development on the family's story. Rhimes divulged that they will be telling the story in a very specific way, but did not further speak of the details.
Meanwhile, Tony Goldwyn, who plays the role of Fitzgerald Grant III, also revealed that Columbus Short, who played Harrison Wright, will not be coming back for this season. This was after he allegedly intimated a man and his wife in a restaurant.
He also divulged that Olivia will continue to be in the picture. This means, according to him, that his character will have to deal with a lot of issues as Season 4 unfolds.
This upcoming season is expected to have heavier and darker episodes, ending in an ultimate twist in the finale.
Watch the "Scandal" Season this September 25 in its usual 9 pm slot.
