The Mikaelsons are returning into their sophomore year this coming October. So better brace yourselves for this all powerful Vampire Family inside scoop and scandals. The past continues to hunt Klaus, the future seems gloom for Halley, Elijah in between and Rebecca returns? Do find out below.

TVline had the pleasure of interviewing the two executive producers, Julie Pec and Michael Narducci, of The CW's series The Originals. They have set down most of their cards for the coming season 2 premiere of the hit television series.

To start with, they have spoken about what will happen to the eldest Mickaelson. Well, according to Narducci, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be hunted down by his parents. Yes, the troubled child would definitely get some spanking from his parents, as most of us do despite the no child abuse policy and as per parental discipline exists. The creativity of it all is how Klaus would be shocked to find out that not only one parent is in within this circus hunt but two! Another interesting tone to the story is how the avenging parents would also get to do their goal and know that both of them were raised form the dead to counteract their so call living sin of a son.

As per the Halley (Phoebe Tonkin) department, being a hybrid and all, season 2 maybe the most challenging phase of her life. Aside from the painful separation from her only child, she would be dealing quite heavily on her loss of herself. The werewolf royalty queen of their tribe will definitely lose her crown when the tribe finds out that she has turned into a hybrid. She would have to actually search herself once more as she did in season one, now with bigger issues to face. But Elijah (Daniel Gillies) would definitely be on his guard to guide and protect her would he? Plec and Naducci think so too, but Elijah would also have a hard time. Why? The decision still lies in the self-lost newbie hybrid as to whether she would allow any help to come her way. Plus a friction still exist between the brothers, so to speak. Things in season 2 would bring forth more family drama.

The one who would be enjoying this sophomore year would be Davena (Danielle Campbell). I mean, how could would be having an old vampire hunter/vampire himself character played under the palm of her hand?! Well, according to Tvline's interview, Narducci did reveal that this will not be an easy task for the young witch. In fact, this season, her mind games and spell binding tactics would be put to the test in order to keep Mikael in tone while protecting those who she loves the most, a.k.a. Marcel and Josh.

Another joy for The Original fans is the return of the bitchy yet most caring Mikaelson sister, Rebeka (Clair Holt) in the story. According to Plec and Narducci, they have known that Holt will not be staying too long to see the end of Season 1 when signed in on the series. Holt also confirmed this last March to Hollywood Reporter that she is taking a little break from this drama yet will love to be happy in joining her New Orleans family once more. But her return did get to be put into a final say when she resurfaced in the season ender as the sole family member to raise Klaus' daughter.

Apart from the happy news of landing a three-book deal from Halequin and an Emmy nominations for the series, you better stay tuned to these Original Family of Vampire drama this coming Season 2 as it is set to Premiere on October 6, on The CW.
