'Transformers 5' Spoilers: Michael Bay may not direct, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox returns, Optimus Prime Dead

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction has brought another Michael Bay-directed masterpiece into a success as it premiered this year. Although critics have not been lenient to Bay's creation, fans have enjoyed it and are expecting the next film of the franchise to be a great adventure ahead. However, news have been circulating on the web indicating that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox may return with the leading roles and Optimus Prime, the leader of the autobots, will take his last breath.

Michael Bay is reportedly ready to throw in the towel with the Transformer franchise. Or maybe not yet. According to the Filmschoolrejects, the successful director would likely help put the next installment into the big screen only if Paramount allows him do another small film before jumping to Transformers. His recent film was Pain & Gain, which premiered in 2013.

Transformer producer, Lorenzo di Buenaventura, didn't confirm anything on Bay's return. According to his interview with Screenrant, Buenaventura revealed his problem on keeping Bay interested in the story when the director admittedly told him that 'he had done [franchise] enough'. He added that If Michael does not push through with directing the 5th installment then they have to move on. With fingers crossed they are actually finding ways to keep Bay tagged into the next installment. Such efforts include not making a reboot of the prequels, but rather generate a newer version of the prequels continuation. By newer, the transformer producer, mentions changing the human elements of the film.

Does this mean that Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf, and Mikaela Banes, acted out by Megan Fox, be returning to the sequel? Lorenzo apparently said no to Screenrant. The producer said that their team is not actually against the idea. However, they do not seem to find how to actually make the pieces work with this characters in the story. So maybe we won't be seeing these two lovebirds in Transformers 5. The rumors were confirmed by the actors themselves. According to Breathcast.Com, Megan Fox may give second thoughts about returning if Shia would return with her. The idea came as Fox accepted the next directory project of Michael Bay, Fox's ex-boyfriend, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle project. Shia LaBeouf has also turned down another role with the Transformers franchise according to Breathcast.Com. However, de did admit that he would happily take on another project with Michael Bay, but not take part in another Transformers story.

With much chaos going on as to who will be the final director and final cast in the 5th installment and to the shock of many fans, Transformers 5 will be saying bye-bye to Optimus Prime for good! The shocking revelation came from National Report who happen to have sit down with Michael Bay on his ideas for the 5th film. According to it, Bay said that Optimus was old news and it is time to bring forth a new robot in the scene.

However, this last information was proven to be a HOAX! International Business Times (IBT) exposes Natural Report's fake story by citing the blog's disclaimer on IBT's article: "National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news."

Transformers 5 is expected to be released in 2016!
