As the television comeback of "Criminal Minds" is nearing, people can't help but wonder what will be in store for viewer in the upcoming season 10 of the CBS show. "Criminal Minds" regular AJ Cook teased the public in a recent interview, making avid followers more excited and more eager to know about hints regarding Season 10.

In a dialogue with RTE, Canadian actress AJ Cook who plays the role of Special Agent Jennifer Jareau said that Season 10 will be a "roller coaster ride of excitement," despite admitting that she is still uncertain about what will happen in the forthcoming season of "Criminal Minds."

"I know we're all thinking something might happen, but we don't know yet. I don't know, we'll see. But I'm definitely going to get Erica [Messer] on the phone, because it's season 10," Cook noted.

The 36-year-old actress, despite oblivious to what's going to happen to their characters, expressed her confidence with the "Criminal Minds" writers and show runner Erica Messer that they will be able to pull off an amazing Season 10.

"It's such a milestone, so you know it's going to be big, and I completely put my trust in our writers and our showrunner," Cook said with confidence. "And I know it's going to be amazing and it'll be interesting to see what journey our characters go on this season. I'm sure it'll be a roller coaster ride of excitement."

Cook, albeit expressing her desire to direct an episode or two in the future seasons - joining cast members Thomas Gibson and Joe Mantegna who were given directing opportunities in the previous season - is unsure if she fitting to direct the particular TV show.

"I've always had aspirations to direct, even from a young age. But yeah, I don't know: a lot of the guys have done it but my style is pretty different to this show. So I don't know if I'm necessarily right to direct an episode of Criminal Minds," Cook explained. "But at the same time, experience is experience. I'm more along the lines of Sofia Coppola's style of directing, telling that kind of a story. But who knows, maybe season 20!"

In related news, "Criminal Minds" show-runner Erica Messer confirmed that the previous "Ghost Whisperer" star Jennifer Love Hewitt will be part of the show as an FBI agent assigned to Behavioral Analysis Unit. The singer-songwriter will play the role of Agent Kate Callahan who used to be an undercover agent for FBI.

"Criminal Minds" Season 10 premiere is scheduled on October 1.
