‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 3 Update: Cast and crew commence filming in New Rochelle, Matt McGorry to stay despite commitment with a new show

While announcements about Season 3 of "Orange is the New Black" will remain unrevealed until 2015, avid followers of the Netflix show resort to news spreading on the new media platform saying that shooting has officially commenced.

Recent reports hinted that the third season of the acclaimed Peabody awarded TV series "Orange is the New Black" has allegedly started filming its early scenes at a bar in New Rochelle called Spectators. Details about the scenes are not yet discussed, but speculators agree that it will definitely be comprised of Alex and Piper's relationship.

It is also reported that Laura Prepon will play a significant role in the upcoming season, in which the "That's 70's show" actress will be featured in each episode of Season 3.

News about the current filming progress of the show, however, remains scarce as the production crew of the Jenji Kohan's comedy-drama series has brilliantly managed to completely keep the aforementioned bar away from the sight of the public, most especially the nosy paparazzi.

Meanwhile, rumors are spreading that the actor who takes the role of Bennett, the lovable cop in "OINB" may not appear in the third season of the series due to his commitment with a new show.

Matt McGorry who plays Bennett currently enjoys his television career in full swing, as he was slated to be a lead cast member of ABC's newest offering, "How To Get Away With Murder." The said show is foreseen to reduce his time filming scenes for "Orange is the New Black," steering people to thinking that there will be less parts for the most-loved one-legged jail guard.

However, Bennett fans need not to worry and may keep their hopes high once more, as McGorry himself dismissed the allegations and confirmed that he will be present in Season 3 as much as in the previous seasons despite his busy schedule juggling two shows at the same time.

"Generally speaking, I get to be present in both shows, which is sort of amazing," McGorry clarified during the 2014 TCA Press Tour.
