LG G6 Latest News & Update: Newest Live Photo Leak Hints At Device's Glossy Back, Dual-camera Set Up

South Korean firm LG is now prepping itself up in introducing its upcoming flagship in town, LG G6. As such, the company is evidently on all fours in possibly outing the newest leaks just to jazz up its device that could propel the company back up to its former glory.

Business Insider has reported via an undisclosed source LG G6's ultimate prototype which is slated to be launched by the end of February. The leaked photo showed that the forthcoming device will be sporting a glossy back finish along with its sides. The shiny black coating is very much akin to one of its rivals, iPhone 7's Jet Black variant. Previous speculations also indicated that some of these areas should be made entirely of glass.

Meanwhile, LG G6's final retail model image has also shown the device's back with its dual-camera system along with the fingerprint sensor. Also inspired by iPhone 7, the dual cameras are reportedly developed to create a "bokeh" background effect in its portrait mode. On the other hand, the latest outing is also indicative of the firm's previous release such as LG V20 and LG G5.

As LG G6 would serve as the company's newest ticket in the industry's flagship race, it is expected to debut with a bang. This is also in tune with the dismal response generated by its predecessor whose sales have underwhelmed the competition. As such, it should come as no surprise if LG G6 might rival or outshine most of its fellow smartphones once it gets released.

LG G6 is tipped to come with a unibody design, a massive 5.7-inch screen with 18:98 aspect ratio and a USB-C connector. In addition, the device is speculated to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and should come with a headphone jack.

LG G6 is scheduled to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb. 26. It will be launched alongside its rivals Xiaomi Mi 6 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
