The larger sibling of the forthcoming flagship smartphone from Huawei Technologies is finally getting its own spotlight. And as it looks, Huawei P10 Plus may be heading for an even wider fame and acclaim.
GSMArena has reported that a source from China has shared the newest render of Huawei P10 Plus. This has come as unexpected as Huawei P10 has recently been stealing the headline with its leaked specifications and prototypes. This time around, a more detailed list of the larger device is now outed.
Accordingly, the black render finish of Huawei P10 Plus has shown sporting an iris scanner, similar to what Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has showcased. In addition, the forthcoming phablet is expected to come with a fingerprint scanner that could be moved to the device's front. As per Android Headlines, the render has also shown a rather confusing placement of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor at the back of the prototype. And as there is now way of having two fingerprint sensors, the unit's home button may just be as it is.
Huawei P10 Plus is also speculated to come with a curved screen, akin to what Huawei Mate 9 Pro has sported previously. As such, the upcoming device may like go with a 5.5-inch screen and should be market-dependent.
Huawei P10 Plus will also be coming with a ring flash that will surround the laser-assist focus for the autofocus feature. It may also run the firm's propietary chipset Kirin 965 that is considerably faster than the rumored Kirin 960 of Huawei P10. The P10 Plus could also sport varying tiers for its RAM and internal storage, namely: the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB versions. Both variants should run the latest Android Nougat out of the box.
Huawei P10 Plus is scheduled to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It will be launched alongside Huawei P10.
