Nintendo News: Pre-order of Nintendo Switch starts Friday!

By

Nintendo, its teams of developers, and the team of public relations, have been making rippling waves in all forms of media lately. From Facebook to twitter and the old reliable television, Nintendo has been strategically dropping pieces of information about their plans for 2017. A new game here, a new console there, whatever it seems to be, gamers and fans of Nintendo young and old alike are bursting at the seams with excitement for any news about what the well-known video game company is about to do next. Fortunately for you fans, they've just leaked another new piece of information that will have the already rabid fanbase go berserk with preparation as we look into their latest news.

According to BGR, you can pre-order the hottest new system that's been making ripples in all forms of media this Friday. The Nintendo Switch is poised to allow limited reservations for when it releases which is supposedly some time in March of this year. Considering that Nintendo has been doing this sort of thing for many years, their success with the method varies however. For some new consoles, Nintendo struggled with both the marketing and the correct timing of when to release it along with its ability to be reserved for the public. For this particular console, however, it seems that Nintendo seems to be doing the right thing by simply setting drops of information instead of letting it all out there, keeping the public hungry and wanting for more.

Gadgets.ntv.com seems to have some more information on the matter, even having some reports of a possible price for the new console. While the price for Japan for the Nintendo Switch will be at 25,000 Japanese Yen ($213), the price that will be set for the US will most likely be $250. Generally, Nintendo consoles are difficult to get in their time of release, so these limited reservations are expected. With the price range being revealed, the only detail left is to find out where. Reports say that the reservation will take place at Nintendo World in New York City, and no other locations have been set for other reservations. This only means that if you really want something, you'll have to put in the work to get it, including the journey to getting there.
