'The Blacklist' Season 3: 'Mr. Solomon' airs April 7th; New villainous character revealed

Edi Gathegi signs in to co-star in "The Blacklist" Season 3 to play his recurring character Mr. Solomon. The show is currently open for a casting call for another villain named Alexander Kirk. Also, NBC has released the official plot description of 'Mr. Solomon' which will premiere on April 7, 2016.

Edi Gathegi has signed in to co-star in "The Blacklist" Season 3. The 37-year-old Kenyan American actor will recur one of the show's antagonist, Mr. Solomon. Solomon happens to be a Cabal operative who is trying to hunt down Raymond "Red" Reddington and kill him, TV Line has cited.

In addition, NBC is currently on a casting call for Red's newest nemesis in the upcoming episode of the show. The Jon Bokenkamp-created series is looking for a 50-65 year old male actor to play as the newest nemesis. According to Ecumenical News, the return of the series will introduce a new antagonist named Alexander Kirk. Alexander happens to be a multi-national businessman and Red's long-time arch nemesis.

Alexander is described as a man whose strong ethics and sharp intelligence pave his way to become a major player on the world stage. The newest character will debut in episode 17 which is said to have a major impact on Red's relationship with the former FBI Agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone)

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 17, International Business Times notes, "The task force races to stop a catastrophe after discovering tactical nuclear weapons have been targeted by thieves; Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) and Liz make a decision that will change their relationship."

"The Blacklist" Season 3 episode 17 is entitled as "Mr. Solomon". The series will return with its newest episode on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. first and exclusive on NBC.
